“Skiing is un-fun. That was probably the best way to describe the sport in the early 1990’s. What were the options? Straight, stiff & uninspiring skis.
In 1995, LINE began with the mission to change that – to reclaim that enjoyment that comes from strapping sticks to your feet & sending yourself down a slope at gravity’s disposal.
From our humble beginnings as a garage brand in upstate New York to becoming a worldwide innovator in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, our mission has always been the simple goal of making skiing MORE FUNNER!”

“Since 2012 we’ve striven to create the world’s tastiest meals for outdoor adventures. With a no-compromises mindset our meals are made from the finest natural ingredients so they taste just like home. Equally, they ensure you are energised for tramping, hunting, biking, mountaineering, or competing in the world’s toughest adventure races.”

“On the 69th day of 2016, a man named Tim Shovelgunzy—picture a young Doc Brown from Back to the Future meets Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, but on skis—had a moment of brilliance that would change the slopes forever. As a ski instructor with a love for adventure, Tim decided to replace the tips of his ski poles with screwdrivers, using nothing more than a brick and a pair of pliers. The result? A genius invention that would allow young shredders to adjust their DIN settings while on the move, anywhere on the mountain.
But how did he come up with this idea? It wasn’t just some random inspiration—it was part of something bigger. Tim’s life mission was simple: to have a good time and work hard doing it. Whether it was divine intervention or a wild, beer-fueled brainstorm after a few tokes, it didn’t matter. What mattered was that this moment set off a chain of events that would leave even modern-day scholars and scientists scratching their heads in wonder.
New Zealand has always been a land known for its pioneers and innovators, and Screw U Poles (SUP) embodies that spirit perfectly. At its core, SUP is more than just a product; it’s a movement. A brand that celebrates creativity, community, and, above all—fun.
In a world overloaded with political correctness and the pressure to conform, Screw U Poles stands out for one simple reason: it doesn’t care what you think. It cares about what you do. So go ahead, do whatever it was you were about to do, and do it bloody well.
Screw - tools
U - you need
Poles - two support
Fun"
